Interdisciplinary Patient Satisfaction 2019
Further development
In 2019, ANQ revised its evaluation and publication concept. Both of these have since been adopted by all ANQ departments. Also updated was the ANQ patient satisfaction concept. The rehab results from the test procedures were also taken into account in the updated questionnaire.
For the first time, all ANQ departments conducted the patient survey in 2019 in collaboration with a new review logistics centre known as w hoch 2. This was accompanied by various preliminary activities, which were undertaken by both ANQ and w hoch 2. For example, it was necessary to redefine the procedures and to thoroughly inform hospitals/clinics of the new digital processes. This was necessary to enable the institutions to redesign their routine internal procedures.
Interdisciplinary Quality Committee (QC)
There were three general meetings of members in 2019. The main subjects discussed at meetings were versions 5.1 of the evaluation and publication concepts. Furthermore, also defined were the requirements of and form of presentation in the results dashboard in consultation with w hoch 2. Various aspects of the satisfaction survey also needed to be dealt with. Finally, the QC established an internal work group (WG), whose first task was to consider the longer-term orientation of the ANQ patient survey (Horizon 2025). The WG has now laid the initial groundwork for this.
Over the course of the year, the QC also approved the 2018 National Comparison Reports from all three departments. It also made two additional decisions with regard to the field of psychiatry concerning the future method of questionnaire submission and the recording of admission status – voluntary or by care-related hospitalisation.
In June, the QC lost an experienced member, as Klaus Schmitt of the Swiss Paraplegic Centre stepped down.
